The room was unique with the attached bath, the breakfast was marvellous! The property's location was marvellous, to the riverfront. I tried some drinks at bar Jorge's Tequila Factory, located 5 minutes walk away.

We stayed in a deluxe queen room with a private bathroom, and the location was ideal, just a short distance from the Vancouver Farmers Market.

This place is so pretty and the staff here is super helpful - they really made my stay enjoyable! the location is awesome too, it's right next to a yummy Thai restaurant 🍜 and you can easily check out the beaches in Oregon and Washington. Plus, there are tons of great local restaurants around here that you can explore.

I had a wonderful stay at the Briar Rose Inn. The owners, Ted and Sally, were not only friendly but also treated me like family. The breakfasts they prepared were absolutely delicious, especially the almond tart. The home itself is beautifully renovated and has a cozy atmosphere. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a dream on the memory foam mattresses. The dining area and main common area were also beautifully decorated, making it a pleasant space to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee with Ted. I also appreciated the personal touch of Ted remembering my preference to have the granola served on the side.

Although parking was limited, Ted and Sally were helpful in finding a space for my car. The only downside was the shared bathroom, but it worked out well because the other guests were considerate.

The hotel had an absolutely perfect and incredible location to the Portland airport. Besides, it was just next door to local attractions and the wedding venue and a Thai restaurant and local sights and the Farmers Market. the breakfast was delicious and marvellous with a great selection of different food.

This hotel is a wonderful find in a perfect location. The value for money is excellent, especially considering the large and comfortable rooms with attached baths. The attention to detail is evident throughout the property, from the old world charm and character to the meticulously maintained common areas. The breakfast, cooked fresh each morning, is absolutely amazing with a variety of delicious homemade options.
